Scripture calls Jesus’ church to “make disciples”—followers of Christ who are continually growing and maturing in their faith. At Evergreen, we offer opportunities for spiritual growth through community dinners, support for the local food bank, personal and family assistance, and holiday food baskets.
Each month, we highlight specific food items to collect in support of those in need in our community. Just bring your donations to the designated collection box—every contribution helps make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors.
We assist individuals referred to us by Bridges of Love NW. If you are in need of assistance, please contact them directly at 253-531-2366 or visit their website at www.bridgesoflovenw.org.

In partnership with the counseling office at a local school, we assist families in need by providing food for the entire Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks—covering meals that children would normally receive through the school’s free breakfast and lunch programs. We also provide Christmas gifts for the entire family.
Community members and groups are welcome to use garden plots to grow their own fruits and vegetables. Some plots are dedicated to growing food for the local food bank.

We support a regional team, in partnership with the Presbytery of the Pacific Northwest (www.epcpnw.org), dedicated to sharing the Word of God with the Somali community locally and globally through their website and social media platforms.
We support several teams, in partnership with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (www.epc.org), sharing the Word of God with unreached communities in sensitive regions around the world. For safety reasons, we do not post their information on social media. If you would like to learn more, please contact us directly.
Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse that shares the joy of Christmas with children in need around the world. Volunteers fill shoeboxes with gifts such as toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and personal notes of encouragement. These boxes are distributed globally, often in communities that have little access to resources, bringing hope and the message of God’s love.
Each year, Evergreen families joyfully contribute over 100 shoeboxes, helping children experience the joy of giving and receiving, and connecting them to God’s love in a tangible way.
The Great Commission calls Christ’s followers to share the Gospel with all nations—or “ethnic groups” (“ethnos”). The Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) focuses on fulfilling this mission in the 10/40 Window, a region spanning the eastern hemisphere from 10° to 40° north latitude, where most unreached people groups still live.
Engage 2025 is the EPC’s initiative to reach at least ten unengaged Muslim people groups by the year 2025, bringing the hope of Christ to communities that have yet to hear the Gospel.
